Angela K. Drake enjoys handling complex litigation and class actions for both plaintiffs and defendants in the areas of antitrust, securities, Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA) matters, and telecommunications law.  In addition, a substantial part of Angela's practice involves insurance coverage and insurance defense work.  She has managed a successful practice for 26 years, 18 of which were in the Kansas City Metro Area. Regardless of the type of case, she believes that success always hinges on thorough pretrial preparation and the use of effective witnesses and documents to support a claim or defense.  Her peers have recognized Angela's work by awarding her Martindale-Hubbell's prestigious "AV" rating, the highest rating available, signifying preeminent levels of professional excellence and ethical standards. Angela is licensed to practice in both Kansas and Missouri.

Outside her practice, Angela teaches Trial Practice and Insurance Law at the University of Missouri School of Law.  Angela enjoys volunteering at her church and in the community.  She is president of The Victim Center in Springfield, a United Way agency that provides prevention education to school children and others as well as 24-hour crisis intervention for victims of traumatic events.  Angela also serves as a co-chair of Tiger Tasters, a nutritional weekend backpack program serving children in low-income families.  She also enjoys spending as much time as possible with her husband and four sons, gardening, and on the lake.
